Yeah, we are all living on rent
In this beautiful world,
Made by God to show His
Love to the Mankind.
But, we live as if it is all
Ours and we severely deserve
All that we possess without
Listening to the cry of the needy.
How long will you keep your
Eyes shut to this heart aching
Sight of the people suffering
And you continue celebrating.
At the end of the month,
The owner will come asking for the rent,
Take a moment to look into our
Pockets to see if we can pay it.
You are right, this money
Is credited in reverse to the world's way.
It's when you give the owner that
Your money gets truly deposited.
What worthiness can I hold to say
These words asked my wounded heart,
